Understanding Active Integration: Active Messaging Eliminates Data Integration Cost and Headaches in Real-Time.
Have you ever had issues with constituent data being out of date? Perhaps an online gift was not updated in the donor database in a timely manner. Or, worse, it never made it into the donor database. Unfortunately, you later added some custom fields and changed some codes. Suddenly, the integration is broken, you have lost key data and you are told it is another few thousand dollars (or more) to fix it.
This webinar looks at the challenges of traditional one-to-one integration and explain the power of Active Integration Platforms based on Active Messaging technology. Using simple XML messaging networks, this makes integrations inexpensive and reliable. Gone are the days of complex, expensive integrations between databases. Anytime there is activity or a change in data, a system publishes a message to the network in XML (the same technology used in Real Simple Syndication (RSS) and that banking and financial trading systems use for sharing information, so it is obviously secure). All your other systems connected to the network can pull down and update the information relevant to that system. Watch now to learn more about how Active Integrations can revolutionize data accuracy and integrity across your organization!

Understanding Business Rules and Fundraising Automation: How an Active System Can Manage the Donor Life-Cycle for You
Have you ever struggled with timely donor acknowledgement? Ever wished you could easily target cultivation to key donors in a consistent, systematic way? Processes at many organizations can be sporadically implemented and sometimes capricious having evolved organically over years.
These flawed processes leave the nonprofit highly vulnerable to sub-optimal constituent management because each organization's business rules for this mission-critical function -- the standard operating procedures and routines that have evolved into the group's best practices -- mostly exist in the institutional memories of individuals rather than in the infrastructure of the organization. In addition, the reliance on individuals to consistently remember and properly execute on key processes -- like timely acknowledgements with versioning by gift-level and donor type, new donor welcome series via mail and/email, or cultivation and upgrade appeals based upon a donor action like event attendance -- presents a serious risk that donors and other constituents will have inconsistent treatment, which results in current as well as potential income loss.
This Webinar will look at how implementing business rules in Orange Leap can automate your fundraising cycle and actually manage the donor life-cycle for you, leaving you free to focus on strategy, personal outreach and your mission

Meaningful Reporting: A Strategic and Holistic Approach to Reporting Across Multiple Systems
Historically, reporting has been done manually if it has been done at all. For example, an individual pulls all the data out out of the donor database, the online system and an events management system. He/she combines these into different pages in an excel spreadsheet, spends hours creating charts and recalculating data a number of times since the donor database data and the online CRM system just don't seem to match-up (and finance is coming in with a third number when asked). Is it possible to pull key data across multiple systems without building and maintaining a complex and sophisticated data warehouse? We’ll create a dialogue around these issues and also look at how The Guru, our database agnostic tool, can centralize reporting between Orange Leap, online tools and accounting.
